Committed to Excellence

At Pet-U-Cation, we hire employees based on drive, eagerness to learn, character, and natural instincts. If you have always been told that you have a "way" with dogs, if you're interested in dog psychology, or if you just want to help others understand their dogs more accurately, email your resume to While we may not have any open positions at that time, we will keep your resume on file and may need you in the future!

Internships Available

Employment opportunities at PuC are available to interns and volunteers first. Want to come learn with us? Ready when you are!

Tara’s House is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to rescue and provide care and compassion for our pets while working to place them in permanent, loving homes. The pets we rescue arrive at Tara’s House from high kill shelters, many with little to no funding for their own adoption programs. These shelters rely on Tara’s House to save these adoptable pets from certain euthanasia.

The AKC Canine Good Citizen program promotes the responsible ownership of all dogs, no matter the breed, age, size, or color! Alumni from this program may go on to become therapy dogs or service animals, as the CGC Certification is a prerequisite for most of these programs. We encourage owners to complete this certification to protect themselves and their dogs from BSL, judgement and for the education and experience you can gain when participating in the classes. View a video clip of one of these classes on the Packages and Services page.

Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF) is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD dedicated to promoting the rescue and adoption of abandoned, abused, homeless, and neglected animals. Our alliances with rescue organizations, shelters, animal care professionals, foster homes, and volunteers facilitate our commitment to place these animals into well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

Located at 816 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Frederick Road Vet offers a wide variety of treatment options for your pets. Knowledgable staff, affordable prices, and best of all -- FRV does not discriminate against any breeds. If your vet doesn't show support for ALL BREEDS, you may want to think about switching! We highly recommend the skills and character of the people at this practice.

Our relationship with Kaiser K9 helps our network of dog lovers participate in fun and productive recreational training activities that benefit both the body and the mind.

Kaiser K9 Scent Detection Training classes are held at PuC during off hours and nosework is available to our On Site Rehabilitation clients as an extra source of mental stimulation and to supplement their training or rehabilitation experience with more of the life skills they need most, such as patience, focus, and engagement.

We are proud to work with volunteers and dogs of BARCS. From 2011-2013, we were proud to be the Community Training Partner for BARCS, and continue to work alongside volunteers, with adoptable dogs and alumn, to make a difference in the city's largest open in-take shelter.
